Overview
Sea freight China – Dakar: LCL groupage and containers
Sea freight suits bulky or heavy goods and any shipment where timing is not critical. From Guangzhou, we organise transport to the port of Dakar and other West African destinations.
For a few cubic metres, groupage (LCL) is the answer: your cartons travel in a container shared with other clients and you only pay for the space used. For larger volumes, a full 20’ or 40’ container (FCL) is reserved for you.
We receive the goods at our Guangzhou warehouse, label them, prepare export documents and book space on board. You then track your parcel online, step by step, until arrival.

How is groupage priced?
By the volume used, in cubic metres. For goods that are very heavy for their volume, weight can also count. The price is given before shipping.
When does a full container make sense?
When your volume gets close to a container’s capacity, FCL can be cheaper than groupage and reduces handling. We compare both for you.
Can I ship goods from several suppliers?
Yes, it is common. Each supplier delivers to our Guangzhou warehouse; we combine everything into one shipment.
Which goods cannot be shipped?
Prohibited or dangerous goods (flammables, some batteries, chemicals…) are subject to strict rules or refused. Tell us what you are shipping and we will tell you what is possible.
